Where To Save And Where To Splurge For Teens

As teens we all know how hard it is to save your money and treat yourself to nice bits and bobs (that we probably don't need) athe same time, it just doesn't work. Especially if you don't have a part time job (like me) and still rely on your weekly pocket money from your parentshow depressing eh? well here's a few tips on where to splurge and save in terms on make up and skin care.

Where to splurge...
the key with make up is to get the base right, but for a perfect base you need to look after your skin. so the first thing on the splurge list is Skincare. It is always important to cleanse, tone, and moisturise so if your looking for somewhere to splash your cash its defiantly in the skincare department, as were only teens a really good brand is La Roche Posay as it doesn't break the bank but is just a little expensive so you know it actually works, at a price of around £15 a bottle you should certainly invest your money in to these baby's.

After skin care is for your base, if your base isn't right then the rest of your make up will not sit on top of it right, so its important to put a good primer and foundation at the top of your list. If your stuck in terms of foundation then pop into your local Debenhams and try out all the different ones at the counter. As were only teens, we obviously don't want to break the bank so aim for somewhere in the price range of £15-£30 as that should without a doubt get you an excellent foundation. In terms of a primer, this makes your make up last longer and fill in your pores, so therefore your going to want to get the best to can. I often use Revlon or Mac but £10+ should set you right.
Where to save...

After you've spent all your pocket money on creating your perfect base you barely have enough for a single eye shadow, so in terms of saving your money its very easy! After you've applied your foundation and what not, it doesn't really what your place on top of it (powder, blush, eye shadow, mascara) therefore, that's exactly were you need to save your money. Use drug store brands such a Revlon, Rimmel, Elf, Nyx, Boujour paris ect... they are all extremely good products but at low prices even starting at £1. Also try out Ebay as you can get a serious bargain on there, along with my eyelashes which i absolutely love and only cost me £3, as long as you have a decent eyelash glue you good to go. So get your self to the nearest drug store and check out the high street brands as they could be saving you a fortune.

Good luck with your splurging and saving!

Thank you
